sunday funday!

so i didnt end up going into work on friday night. i wasn't feeling well and the stress from all of my final projects was making it so much worse. granted i lost several hundred dollars by not working... that probably didn't help either. however, i was able to just kind of hang out and kick it with AJ and Bryan. i went to bed around the same time i would have had i worked. yesterday i spent all day at the coffee shop doing homework and writing a ridiculous paper. its all bullcrap honestly. then i went to work. it was dead. sooo slow all night. today i woke up and came to panera and this is where i've been for the past 4 hours. tucked in my corner of the restaurant, working on my advertising campaign and i even had time to make a new twitter background. click HERE to see it. forgive me if it cuts off a little on your screen... i'm working on a beast of a 17" macbook pro so my screen is wayyy wider than normal computers. hmm.. i just did the mixtape for tomorrow so ill have that posted soon!

i cant wait for christmas break so i can rearrange my room, get rid of a bunch of crap, organize my life, etc. i have 2 days of classes this week and sadly they're my worst 2 days. haha thats how it works though, am i right?! i didnt work on my flash website much so thats a bummer, and i have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning that i dont know if i'll be able to go to because of my homework. gosh!

wednesday morning i'm loading baby G up and heading down to hohenwald. i'll do laundry and then go to work from there. the night before thanksgiving is usually our busiest night of the year at the bar. isnt that crazy!? i'll work roughly 8pm til midnight or 2am. blah! then thursday is thanksgiving with my stepdad's family. i'll either camp out at my parent's house until i work friday night or ill head back at some point so i can shop. i didnt go black friday shopping last year (first time in 15 years...) so i might not again this year. i shouldn't spend any moniezzzz.

sorry i didnt let that post go from the queue like i said i would. there are some things i want to elaborate on first :) and several things i'd like to get YOUR opinions on! yay!

okay.

dear readers,

thank you all for being so patient with me during these last 2 weeks of the fall semester. even now i am sitting at panera (as always) trying to write a 12 page paper on Byzantine icons in the Byzantine culture for Art History. Such a crazy crazy work load (and hard tests!) for a 2 credit hour course. but alas, they must be done so here I am... doing them. well, at least attempting to. even with my crazy school load, i've been making time to spend with my dear friends in person. so many lovely people and so many lovely events and i wouldn't trade them for a significant gain in sleep (since i'm currently lacking).

last night I joined merissa, jt, kayce, and jonathan at kayce & jonathan's house for some drinks and conversation. we headed over to Rumours East for the AIGA Nashville Thirsty Third Thursday event. Not too long after we went to Drifters for some food and walked to 3 Crow Bar for some thursday night trivia and drinks. even though i was beyond exhausted for my 8:30am art history class, i made it. huzzah! only one class to go and luckily thats our final! woohoo!

tonight i have to work as usual, and tomorrow too. hopefully i can find time to do this paper, an integrated proposal, and work on my flash site, oh AND advertising! before the beginning of the week. its so incredibly stressful.

i've been talking to several friends who are in a similar career field as myself and listening/discussing their plans post-graduation, etc. i'm very excited about what will follow graduation for me. it'll be 6 months of a less-than-ideal living situation but its all for the greater purpose and what i'm planning on doing with my life. i've actually written up a post about it already and i'll be releasing it from the queue later today :)

also, a huge huge thank you to the several personal emails i've received this week from some of you! you literally have no idea how exciting it is for me to open my inbox and see an email from a real-life person who reads along to my silly blurbs and ramblings, and they find it in themselves to send a personal message. i was sitting at school yesterday when i received an email that gave me goosebumps. i read it to elle and she said "whoa that gave me the chills"... silly maybe, but little things like that really make my day.


this was amazing. so thank you candice! you're truly a gem.

if anyone ever wants to email me, feel free. you dont have to sing my praises, but if you want to talk about nothing specific, or anything specific, or if you just need a place to vent, my inbox always has room. it might take a day or two to get back to you but i promise if you take the time to write me, i'll take the time to listen/read and write back. :)

so i figured if i'm going to be so MIA and bad at posting, i should at least let you know why :) this week has been non-stop craziness but it's been a blast. after working alllllllll weekend and just kicking it on sunday, i went to school monday and had my 4 hour long flash class, then Merissa came by the house and picked Kayla and I up to head over to Caitlin's. Tiffany met us there and then Amanda, Lauren, and Katie showed up. we finally headed over to Caitlin's parents' new farm house so we could have our Leonid Meteor Shower sleepover. heyyyy third grade! i used to have a sleepover every year for my birthday. love! Jennifer met us out there and we all piled into the basement and settled in. we ate lotsssssss of food. fruit, veggies, chips & salsa, animal crackers, popcorn... you name it haha we read cosmo, talked about school and boys and life and old tv shows we used to love. it was awesome. sadly the rain and the clouds refused to cooperate so we saw zero meteors. we stayed up until about 2:30am and then we all just crashed. we woke up at 7:30am to head back to town to get ready for class. all but 1 of us had class at 9am. we all woke up with heartburn and we piled into the cars. merissa, kayla and i went straight to school and i definitely went to my first class in my pajamas. hahahaha elle took me home after class so i could change and then i headed back for my last 2 classes of the day. phew! tuesdays are rough! when i finally got home at 6pm, i headed into bry's room to hang out. i ended up hanging out with him, aj, kayla and eric until about 1am or so. love all of them. sleep and wake up today to head to student government meeting. it went well and then i headed to panera for homework. 3 hours into it merissa meets me up there and we work for a few more hours. she invited me over for dinner so we headed to her house at 6pm and we get pizza. she, jt, and i all watch tv while we eat for a bit and then its back to the grind. sooooo much homework! we worked for 2 hours, battled dreamweaver and coding, and finally we were almost done. 1 video to go! i came home, showered, painted, and here i am. about to jump in bed so i can be at school bright and early to do 4+ hours of coding before class at 1pm.

PHEW! see what i mean! i also have a 12-ish page paper due on friday (AND an integrated design proposal!) but luckily we have until monday if we hand it to our professor personally. then i just have to: study for final exam in art history (it will probably kill me), build a self promotional website in flash by december 7th, do an entire advertising campaign for st joseph health systems by tuesday november 24th, finish coding and constructing my CMS and launch my dynamic site in Web 2 by december 3rd, and then figure out what the heck is due for holistic wellness. it'll be an interesting next 2 weeks. i promise i'm not avoiding y'all :P

today will be...

tattoo tuesday AND wedding wednesday! wut wuttttt! haha i was swamped yesterday. monday night was the sleepover and obviously i got "this" much sleep (but more on that later!), went straight to school because kayla and i rode with merissa. went to class IN OUR PAJAMAS, and finally got to change in between. then i had to come right back and have web 2 class, then elle, kayce, merissa and i went to get Sweet CeCe's frozen yogurt, then we had advertising. it never ends. luckily i got home an hour early (around 5:45pm) but i went straight to bry's room where I laid on his bed while he played WoW and then AJ joined us and we spent the next 4 hours trying to think of what we wanted to do. oh man oh man. eric and kayla joined us eventually but it was a really really fun night. i love my roommates so much. i loveeee the dynamic in this house now. we played uno at like 1am and i eventually just passed out. and here i am. awake, gross, not cutely dressed, but oh well. i have to leave for student government meeting in 10 minutes. after that, its straight to panera to work for hours and hours and hours. i have 4 web lectures i have to watch (they're at least 1-1.5 hours each) and i have to do them, too. as;dljk before tomorrow. KILL ME NAO!

uh so fashion friday?

i do apologize. today has been go go go go go! art history class at 830am, mom came by at 1030am to help steam clean my carpets & i cleaned the whole house. then we grabbed lunch, i cleaned more, spending too much time on BME: iam and then i had lots of errands! geeze! [not to mention georgia def decided to go swimming in the creek/river behind our house... she came up the back stairs soaked & muddy. head to toe.]

tomorrow im supposed to go to my cousin's baby shower but its quite a drive and i dont know if i can since i have to work and georgia gets her stitches removed at 3. a;ldfjkas;ldf


someone just give me free money so i can relax. or at least speed up the next 2.5 weeks so school will be over! asdl;fjkasl;fjasdfl.

so i'm sitting at panera in cool springs (third time in the past week and still no sight of cute panera guy! maybe he no longer works here?! idk... sad.) and i'm listening to my Love & Sequins #3 from Gala Darling and i need to be doing web 2 work... bad. realllll bad. i'll make time for it. last night was a lot of fun. i ended up staying out way later than i expected so i didnt update once i got home. im pretty sure we were at the pond for about 6 hours. it was merissa, sam, jt, kayla, tiff, eric and i. we drank beers and played wii bowling, talked, got silly giddy over a boy from the show the other night, etc etc etc.

i allowed myself to sleep in until i couldn't possibly sleep any longer (probably 11:45am-ish?!). i took a shower, talked with bryan and now here i am. trying to be productive. maybe maybe! i need to do my packages for my penpals tonight. hopefully i can have them in the mail on friday before work.

a guy defff just sat RIGHT behind me.. like literally maybe 18 inches and is basically looking over my shoulder right now. hi guy! hahaha

tonight merissa & jt are having people over for pizza and a movie. but the secret movie is def paranormal activity and theres no way i can put myself through that haha im such a sissy!

i only have 2.5 or 3 weeks of school left! oh my word! absolutely crazy! i signed up for classes for the spring semester yesterday. i dont know what times they are but the classes i agreed to were:

- Field Internship (4 credits): but i'll do this in the summer in NYC so its not really a class.
- Art History 2 (2 credits): shoot me now.
- Print Design 2 (3 credits): i didnt even take the pre-req of Print Design 1 but luckily Jeff is just going to put me in there anyway.
- Portfolio 1 (3 credits): reworking things i've already designed for my portfolio
- Corporate Design (3 credits): this class is totally unneccesary and i'm only in it because i get an extra class for free... i'm 99% sure i'm going to drop it so i can have an easy senior semester of only 3 classes. but the new teacher works with EMI records and that could be an "in" to the album art bizzzzzz. we'll see.

exciting exciting. 2 semesters left! this time next year i will be ready to graduate! i've been weighing my options for post-grad and i think the whole thing will be: graduate in december, move back to my hometown in january, stay there and work at the bar for roughly 6 or 7 months so i can save every single penny (if i do this, i can easily save $15-20k for nyc), move to NYC & hopefully land a job in the summer, pay several months rent with my savings so i dont have to worry about money, enroll in FIT again and maybe get my FMM degree? a;dklfja;lsj. SO MUCH TO DO!

but i'm ready to live my life. i'm not going to future-trip and start "preparing" for life. life is right now and i'm doing it. awesome!

terrible tuesday.

now now now, dont let the title fool you... today didn't suck by any means, but it definitely was jam packed and stressful. and its not even 6pm! after a WAY too eventful and fun monday night featuring myself, aj (roomie), bryan (roomie), kayla (roomie) and eric (kayla's boyfriend) out on the twinkledeck, it was hard to drag myself from bed at 8:30am for my class at 9. i was 15 minutes late. oops. and i got to jet out for a half hour as i scheduled my spring semester. oh registration day! thats for another time though.

i skipped out on advertising a little early so i could come home and fix myself up. i look a hot mess and a bunch of us are going out to the pond (our local little watering hole dive bar haha) for a few beers and some wii bowling. i always have a blast with them.

still havent thought of a theme for tuesdays yet.. hmm.. but i think wednesdays will be WEDDING WEDNESDAYS! why?! BECAUSE I LOVEEEEEEEEEE WEDDINGS! hehe lots of great photos and such to share with y'all tomorrow!

for now i must get back to painting my face so i can skeeeedaddle and get my wii bowling on! (theres always a 70-something year old woman who PWNS everyone... no really.. you dont even understand.) GRANDMA BE FIERCE!

it's monday!

indeed it is. start to the new work week. slaving away at school over classes that you'll swear you'll never need. we're all doing it. i'm in class right now actually.. hehe.. flash. oh my! starting on my final project.. a self promotional website and i like my concept a lot.. i just have to make it work technically. thats typically my problem. luckily we bolt out of here in an hour. afterwards i'm supposed to join my friends merissa, her hubby JT, and tiffany to venture to nashville at the rutledge to see jonathan singleton & the grove, jonathan being the husband of our other dear friend, kayce. so many people! :D either way, it should be a lovely kick-off to music monday!

what i'm thinking about doing with the blog is a weekly rotation of posts, similar to what people do on twitter, etc. music monday, follow friday or fashion friday (or both!), weekend repeat (round-up), etc etc etc. i just have to find proper themes for tuesday and wednesday. hmm.. but does that sound like something that would appeal to you? you are, afterall, the readers and this is written FOR you. :)

my idea for music monday is maybe a mixtape each week? if time allows, at least. and maybe a few of my favorite songs i've had on repeat. follow friday could be some of my new favorite blogs or websites, and fashion friday would be similar to what i did this past week with a recap of my favorite outfits i've seen. it's just a way to help keep me motivated. :)

if you have any awesome suggestions for other days or themes, feel free to leave them below! you can be anonymous if you so wish. but dont hesitate to use this idea on your blog, too! i know a lot of people have been doing things similar to the 'things i love thursdays' so its a great way to connect the whole blogging community!

a new chapter begins...

last night at work was rather busy. we luckily had quite a crowd. the night went by rather quickly and i was on my way to good ol' Hohenwald. it felt nice to crawl into bed in my childhood room (which has since been revamped... but mom painted it peach & its full of ruffles! oh my! its like a dollhouse!). i was woken up by my silly dog Charlie and my mom at the door ushering me to breakfast. a home cooked meal! so rare for me these days haha the weather outside is beautiful so i'm waiting on my laundry to finish so i can go outside and enjoy it. i had to leave baby G at home and it breaks my heart. i miss her so. she always has fun back here with Charlie and Lacey. but anyway...

i've gotten a few questions regarding my changed facebook status and removal of the photos of adam and i on my myspace... i have prayed about some things over the past few days/week and i've come to the decision that i needed to part ways for good with adam. yes, i know we only got back together legitimately in the past few months but he and i are both battling things that are so much bigger than ourselves. i'll simply say no, distance was not the ending factor. yes, adam was the boy i thought and expected to spend the rest of my life with. i would have been happy with that. that was my "plan"... but sometimes plans don't work out, and the one person you think is "the one" is really just "the one to teach you a few things"... adam taught me so much in three years. he taught me that i cannot make myself a victim of my past, he taught me how to love someone unconditionally, he taught me how to DO rather than try, he taught me how to hold on and most importantly, he taught me how to let go. i love adam with every fiber of my being and i'll always care for him. he was my first love and he will be the one i compare everyone to, regardless of my desire for or against this. however, sometimes its both naive and ignorant to stay with someone simply because you love them. i harbor no ill-will towards him and i wish him nothing but happiness and success in his future. however, i can neither help, nor save, someone who is unwilling to help himself. it was a very hard decision and it was one that i thought i'd regret, but as i woke up thursday morning i was greeted with a sense of satisfaction, contentment, and a lifted spirit. it was my decision, and it is one i do not regret. i'm merely writing this so that no one here thinks that i am lying or misleading them by anything i say about love and relationships, etc etc.

what does this mean for me? who knows. it means happiness and friends and laughter and flirting and an open heart and mind. i am open and ready to meet someone who can make me laugh and texts me all hours of the night even if just to say hello, doesnt mind my cheesy romantic comedies and the fact that i cry during the new at&t commercial (the one with the little girl and lost dog.. yeah... you know you felt it, too!).

it's going to be a scary venture, jumping back into the world of dating and flirting and all that jazz, because to put it frankly, i'm not good at any of that mess. i'm shy and awkward and i can't flirt to save my life haha however, i am so ready for this chapter and i know that it is going to be filled with so many amazing people, places and adventures.

it also reiterates my belief and understanding that everyone doesn't have the same sequence of events in their lives. many (read: most) old friends are married and parents of multiple children. some have been divorced, others have met their "soul mates"... all in due time. just because i wasn't meant to meet the man of my dreams at age 21 doesn't mean he isnt out there. i was once friends with a girl who married the second boy she ever "dated"... the first real boyfriend. more power to her. maybe some consider that a "fairytale"... but not me. i've been kicked to the bottom and i've felt the absolute worst heartache i think i could ever handle... but i've bounced back from it. i've learned from everything i've felt. i now know how to handle situations like that and in the future, i'll be able to handle other shitty boyfriends and broken hearts... it's destined to happen. so for that i consider myself lucky. i am strong woman because i've felt these things.

everything happens for a reason and i welcome this new phase of my life with open arms. i'm so very excited about my purpose. if you're nursing a broken heart, i promise you one thing... you WILL get through this. there ARE good people out there. you will be loved and you will be appreciated.

hello friends! i do apologize for slacking on the "personal" updates but why would you want to read about the life of another when you're out and about manifesting your own dream life full of exciting adventures right?! you better be out there doing just that! ;)

at the moment i'm sitting in a little nook at the cool springs panera listening to the honey trees and i just finished a slightly-lukewarm bowl of soup. this weather is marvelous and i'm slightly disappointed in myself for not going out and experiencing it more. all in a days work i suppose!

the past few days have been a whirlwind. oh so busy but oh so rewarding! i'm trying to balance the hectic senior year of college with work and friends and family, too. i'm so excited to say that i'll be venturing to my hometown of Hohenwald tomorrow to see my folks! the 70-mile drive never ceases to inspire me, especially in the autumn months. my mother always seems to ignite a flame in my heart to push me to be a better person simply because she is who she is. it's such a wonderful blessing to have people like that in your life. many heartfelt conversations this week have only strengthened my never-waning belief that she is a saint. this weekend has been slow at work thus far. i do hope business picks up tonight. not only for my monetary benefit but because another establishment in the area closed its doors this week due to the economy. praying that that is not in my near future (or future at all, really!).

yesterday was gorgeous so i took it upon myself to wash my car (finally! after everyone and their brother telling me "you should REALLY wash your car...") yeah yeah yeah... i did! and cleaned it out! and i even got an oil change today! (after going 7,500 miles...). peep these iphone pictures.


how embarassing... yes... that brown stuff... thats not a shadow. that is indeed the amount of dirt caked onto the back of my car. it didnt really TRULY bother me too much (i've been SO busy!) until i washed part of it off and saw the drastic contrast. oops!



of course baby G has to get in on the water action. this dog LOVES the waterhose!

well i typically let georgia wander wherever her heart desires. she's a good dog and will come when called and she doesn't run off of the property so i say let her play! i had turned my back for maybe 3 to 5 minutes and realized i didnt hear her rustling in the leaves as usual. i turned around in my room and THIS was sitting there... in my floor... leg-deep in muck and mud. but oh isn't she just adorable?! her face says it all. she knew she wasn't supposed to do that.


this is what i'm currently wearing today. i'm loving the metallic gold and black this season. i'm not sure why! i've been really thinking of a drastic hair change. i'll keep the color, of course. theres nothing quite like being a redhead. but i've grown so frustrated with my nappy curly messy of a head that maybe i should try something else? do you have any suggestions? i haven't had a proper cut in 5+ years... thats right. you heard me.

so today was stress mania. i had to rush to class at 9am, do an entire commercial spot for my ad campaign, work several hours on it, go to web 2 class, then go do my presentation to some dude from an ad agency in nashville. luckily everything went well. just glad it's over. afterwards elle and i went to hobby lobby to get crafty things for the mask decorating party tonight. we went back to school where tons of us (me, elle, merissa, jt, katie, tiff, caitlin & eventually kayla, joanna, ashlea, megan and travis) ordered pizza, watched movies on the giiiiant projector screen in the classroom (the proposal and observe & report), got crafty with our masks, etc. i definitely burned 6 of my fingers AT ONE TIME... 4 of the have blisters on the tips. like, you dont even know how much pain i was in. i cannot use a hot glue gun to save my life. it took me a few hours to make my mask and then i helped merissa construct a dress out of wrapping paper haha. then i headed to the house where i was greeted by 2 inebriated roomies on the back twinkledeck and they engaged me in ridiculous conversation. oh my. now i'm freezign, i wanna crawl in bed and snuggle and get warm. :) tomorrow is my "off" day but i have to steamclean my carpet, clean my room, do my entire web 2 milestone project, and start on flash. always something! i was hoping to sleep in but alas i have a student government meeting to attend so off to bed i go!

this is my masquerade mask! everyone else was doing feathers and sequins and glitter so i decided to take a different approach. of course i'd do an owl! duh! so hopefully it matches my dress (and hopefully my dress fits!) but all should be well. ill take a photo of the final product :)

i love the smell of fresh roses and i definitely have 3 dozen just chillin on my bedside table. :D typically i'm not a fan of roses at all but something about them today just makes me feel in love. its a wonderful thing.

edit: i forgot to say... unfortunately adam's mother has taken ill and experienced a stroke this weekend. she has been put in ICU and i'm not sure of her exact current situation but adam flew from san francisco today to las vegas (where shes now living) to be with her in the hospital. please keep her and his whole family in your thoughts and prayers. please send well wishes their way for a speedy recovery and safe travels. he's very distraught about it all and i'm awaiting a phone call for an update. thanks <3

longggggg day.

hey y'allllll! ;)


so amazingly i woke up at 7:30am this morning and was totally unable to go back to sleep. i mean i was wide-eyed and bushy-tailed so i poked around, showered, went about my daily rituals and took my sweet time. i went to campus about 10am even though i dont have class until 1. i have a big advertising campaign due tomorrow and if you follow me on twitter you'll know that i HATE advertising. even though i got an ~"award" for the last project, i despise it. i do NOT want to do advertising ever ever ever! but i had to get through this project and luckily theres only one more for the semester! yesterday i spent time at panera working on it and a new concept came to me. so i ran with it. i did 2 roughs of the concept [its for Happy Tales Humane which is a No-Kill Animal Shelter here in Franklin] and i emailed my professor. i went with the one i liked the look of best and did the entire campaign, minus my tv commercial. well of course i'd get an email this morning from my professor telling me he loved the other one ha. so i had to do an entire campaign around it. but it all worked out because now i have 2 badass campaigns and even if he doesnt let me present both, i will get some mega super extra cred. HOLLA! anyway, i spent 13 hours on campus today... working on advertising. to the point i havent even started on a massive project due thursday and another due on monday. FML!

it'll all work out though. i'll slave away over the next 5 weeks and then i'm going to bask in the glory that is my 5 week christmas vacation. can't come soon enough! tonight it was me, elle, joanna & ashlea and we turned up the music really loud (brace yourself for this... our playlist included: spice girls, enrique iglesias, nelly furtado, kanye west, whitney houston, chamillionaire, etc etc etc) it was epic. we were belting it out, dancing around. so so so much fun. slaving over projects should not be that fun but we all agreed we need to throw a follow up 80's Prom like we had 3 years ago. it was a huge success but this one will be even better!

The Masquerade Ball is on thursday. exciting! i need to make my mask. we're throwing a mask decorating party tomorrow (we really love to throw parties... can't you tell?!) and i'm goign to be an owl! duh! what else would i be aside from a shark?! haha thats if i can get all the stuff to make it in time. i think it will match the dress i wanna wear but we'll see! i bought tonnnnsss of shiny tulle today. im going to get some more fabric and sew some dresses as soon as i get a spare minute. i'll post them if they turn out decent.

right now i'm bummin' it in my hoodie and shorts. i look homeless haha but i dont care. tomorrow is another long day. classes from 9-6:30 so i'll be on campus no later than 8. lordy lordy! if my campaigns go over well i'll show you guys :D i'm pretty happy with them.

this is long and i doubt anyone reads long boring personal entries like this so i'll just say seeeee yaaaaa!

first things first....

this is my pissed off face.



okay for a little small small update!

+ i changed the blog header. once more. going by my ~myspace name. i know, cliche, whatever.

+ tweaked the CSS coding to make the page 200 pixels wider. do you like it or hate it? i prefer a wider page... but i AM working on a 17" widescreen macbook pro soooo it may be too wide for someone with a smaller resolution. (the main writing area is now 580px as opposed to 430..) do you like it thinner or wider?

+ tweaked the colors in the layout. finally. the header now matches the background. long overdue.

+ getting irritated because some girl went and took "little chief honeybee" on every single social networking site... oh, and to top it off she THEN went and added my boyfriend on twitter. WTF? i know you read this, little girl. i know you're lurking the shit. stop it. so annoying.

+ "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" ORLY?! no. no it's not.

+ i probably shouldn't get so worked up about it but i'm just really irritated at a bunch of my shit making it's way around the circle of the internet but every single person that is using it is claiming it as their own. pictures are one thing (and a creepy thing at that) but when you have the gall to jack someone's about me (as trivial as it may seem) or something, thats just lame. you can jack all the intellectual property you want, but you can't have my boyfriend :)

+ its saturday. its a work day. i'm tired. i'm grumpy. it's cold.

i'm home!

adam and i at natural bridges in santa cruz, california yesterday.


hey guys! i'm home! can't say that i'm too thrilled about it.. especially as i'm greeted by a terrorized room (thanks baby G), a broken $160 betsey johnson laptop bag (ugh!), and the fact i have to work tonight... it was an uneventful trip from foggy san francisco to nashville today. from waking up at 3am to switching planes in denver, i'm just glad i'm here safe and i wish i was with adam. i have so many errands to run right now and a sick best friend to go console so i will post a few entries later! dont forget i've got a bunch of those drafts so i'll be spitting them out with TONS of photos. hooray!

Hello my loves! Sorry for being MIA! As most of you know I'm in California visiting my boyfriend for the week so I've had little time to update! Today is my last full day here and I fly back to the homeland at sunrise. Today we are heading to Santa Cruz and we are going to eat lunch on the boardwalk and beach. It shall be lovely! yesterday.

yesterday shannon came to franklin to enjoy the day with me. we had much to do on our agenda and we did all of it except thrifting. we had a yummy lunch at panera, mmm black bean soup. then we went to ross, whole foods & stocked up on vegan goodies, bought some hair dye, went to walmart to see bryan, got stuff for vegan shark attack cupcakes (see photos below!), rented Away We Go, ate vegan pizza, baked baked baked, baked some more vegan lemon cranberry poppyseed muffins, had a bonfire, got crazy super hyper and slept. haha man!





in the bathroom at ROSS. haha i was stuck there for a few minutes as the guys laid new ceiling tiles. it was awkward.

baby G this morning. i had the doors open and after drying my hair i realized my dog was missing so i started yelling/looking for her.. walked out on the back deck in my room and there she was, sunbathing. silly puppy. im so thankful she can come and go as she pleases without running off or having to be put on a leash. she's a good dog :D

that was my sunday funday. time to pack, get dressed and curl my hair. flight at 6pm and i get to see my babbbbbbbbyyyy boyyyy in 12 hours! san francisco here i come!
