- Seeing how social media and the internet has made a huge difference in helping people grant children wishes for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The quote that stuck with me from that address was, "Courage is not the act of fear, but acting in site of it." - Mark Twain. It was an incredibly moving address, and my heart goes out to that foundation and what they stand for.
- Attending the Food Workshop and meeting the amazing and talented Helene from Tartelette who talked about photography and food styling. If you haven't seen her website and blog, you should really check it out.
- The closing keynote address about Authenticity by two inspirational women - Karen from Chookooloonks and Brené Brown from Ordinary Courage. I took copious notes, and there were many things that stuck with me including, "What is your intention?" In life... in everything...
A few weeks ago, I was invited and sponsored by Avery to attend the Evo Conference : The Evolution of Women in Social Media. It was an extremely enjoyable conference, the setting and venue in Park City were perfection, and I was very impressed. The two ladies who put on the event Rachael Herrscher and Jyl Johnson Pattee are dynamite, and I left the conference feeling incredibly inspired being around such a large group of fine women.
